PWND (PowerShares Global Nuclear Energy Portfolio - PowerShares Global Wind Energy Portfolio)

This is a new ETF which I think is a good buy because these energy sources will have a higher demand if oil prices stay high.

I heard about this Indian company Suzlon that makes windmills

So ironic that windmills have been used for 100's of years and only now we realize that they might be a solution.

What companies are in the nuke engineering business?

I am not exactly sure because one should assume that many companies are involved in supplying subsystems to nuclear plants, but I think the major players for reactor and plant design are GE and Westinghouse

how does this affect the indian econemy?

David, read about Suzlon here:

They are a all wind mill company.
They supply windmills to wind farms all over the world.

I heard that Suzlons stuff is of low quality

I am sure they are...
Probably substandard.
I wonder what the demand for their stuff will be due to this alt. energy push by Pickens etc.
