FINAL UPDATE: Reaction
Obama gave us lots of insight into what his presidency will be like. He will be a more Clintonian president than an Sharpton president. Though he is preaching leftist policies at home, in practice he will be a center-right politician- like Clinton. Though I thouroughly disagree with Clinton, his economic policies were fairly conservative. He expanded NAFTA, and helped liberlize the world economy. Contrary to what many liberals think, Obama will be this kind of a president.
What do you think about the policies he described in this speech?

Very good speech, defended American policy
This is a good speech, this is the kind of president we need!!!!
He has a good policy: not too liberal, not too conservative
TURN ON THE LIBERAL SIRENS!!!
FLIP FLOP!!
I bet the left is quaking in their boots after a speech like this.
I didn't think it was a good speech. It was a lot of copying from earlier generations and Obama isn't very faithfull to his ideals anymore. It's what you say: a centrist speech. I want a liberal Obama!
Well you really shouldn't make a politically charged speech out side the country. That's like using another country's stuff our dirty work.
Remember to read the full text of the speech, then you can pick up the centrist tone.
See I agree with his economic policies here, but not when he is talking to unionized labor. He changes his views according to the audience.
Good point, I agree
BTW, if you guys want to have a chat type conversation use the chat function on the right.
Good thing he didn't say anything about gay rights or something like that.
People in Germany addressed that issue before..
Yeah they addressed it well when Hitler was fuhrer lol
Sanjay I think you are linking to the wrong article in the Digg article.
K, someone else used dig on the transcript of the speech, I thought it was the same article
I voted for Obama because he would stand up to conservative policies, not agree with them
In this speech Obama was pro business, pro imperialism, and pro everything the democratic party is against
Prince? I thought you were a conservative and you like to come to this site to "make fun of liberals"
The digg article doesn't link to this post, it links to the transcript.
